OTC is a centre for Training and Assessment of Outdoor Recreation and Sport & Recreation Professionals


The Outdoor Training College, (in conjunction with RTO provider #90473), delivers nationally recognised training courses in Outdoor Recreation and Sport & Recreation, First Aid and Remote First Aid.

The Outdoor Training College offers courses in Certificate II, Certificate III and Certificate IV and Diploma in Outdoor Recreation. Certificate II, Certificate III and Certificate IV in Sport & Recreation and are approved for Government funded Traineeships and other Government initiatives.

Courses can also be for activity specific "skills sets" such as Abseiling, Rock-climbing, Bushwalking, Canoeing Flat Water, Indoor Rock Climbing, Challenge Ropes, Mountain biking, Senior First Aid and Remote Area First Aid Courses and many more activity areas, information is available on our website www.outdoortrainingcollege.com.au.

Our Electronic E-Learning system, for the theory component of any course, means that you can commence straight over any website, working through the learning material, and take quizzes to ascertain your knowledge base for the unit of competency. Exams are completed directly on the web and your outcome is advised immediately. The internet based e-learning facility which can be completed anywhere, anytime, night or day, 365 days a year this deliver via the internet can be self paced to suit the participant's needs and time frame and at any time during the course you can print out an interim statement showing your progress, every step of the way. The chosen activity component for training and or assessment is conducted as face to face elements, usually within your area or region. We have also developed electronic maintenance systems. E-log is an affordable Electronic Management Systems, www.e-log.com.au,  designed for the outdoor recreation sector and other volunteer organisations to assist in scheduling, reporting and recording for equipment.

The E-log Equipment Management System provides a simple to use facility that for the collection of information about your gear and equipment and provide you with a traceable history of maintenance activities undertaken with specific gear and equipment. It is a user friendly system and requires minimal training for staff while producing quick and easy reports. It does this by tracking and logging the usage of essential gear and equipment used in the Outdoor Recreation and Sport and Recreation sectors and providing a simple to use means of recording the procurement, use and inspection of that equipment, in addition, the system uses industry standard criteria to recommend the retirement of equipment as a result of its age or wear.
